Use Web 2.0 tools to create mapping mash-ups that offer new ways of presenting and analyzing data and incorporate their research, photos, podcasts, or other digital data to share with others around the world. Creating mapping mash-ups that incorporate authentic data, photos, and location-based research is an effective way for learners to engage in problem solving, critical thinking, visual literacy, contexts for spatial and cultural differences, and communication skills.
