The session focuses on conceptual learning using interactive math and science lessons, innovative 3D math and science simulations, and access to an online math and science environment. It explores the importance of math, science and technology in society, strategies needed for rigorous inquiry and problem solving, and pedagogies for enhancing mathematical and scientific thinking in elementary and secondary students.

Learners engage in problem solving, critical thinking, visual literacy, geo-location, contexts for spatial and cultural differences, and communication skills.
